Crushed Glass

Crushed Glass abrasives are manufactured from 100% recycled glass. Non-reactive and inert, it can be used near and around water. It also doesn’t require post-blast cleaning. Contains less than 1% free silica. Glass blasting media, recycled crushed glass is a highly efficient material for many applications. Our products are used by customers when removing surface coatings, such as rust, paint and scale from a variety of substrates, especially stainless steel, aluminum, concrete, bricks and wood. It has low embedment, the dust produced when using glass abrasives is translucent which can allow for increased visibility and operator production. Our abrasives are also QPL Approved (Mil-A-22262B) and CARB approved.

Typical Applications:

Coarse: Rust, Bridges, Ships, Concrete Dressing, Steel Surfaces

Medium: Stainless Steel, Light Scale, Graffiti, Concrete Dressing

Fine: Soft Materials, De-Greasing

Available in three mesh blends: FINE 12/20, MEDIUM 20/40 and COARSE 40/70
